Hi there.
Let me apologize first for not posting this newsletter on Monday. I have been writing all week, like last week. I now have time to write my newsletter, so here it goes.
These is only 1 thing I thought was worth sharing this week (or Monday).
1. Writing makes you think (hard).
This was a quote and an idea from a book that I’m currently reading, called “20歳の自分に受けさせたい文章講義”. Sorry it’s in Japanese, but it means “A writing course that I wanted to take when I was 20 years old”. This book is written by a very famous writer in Japan. His name is Koga Fumitake.
He says “Writing is thinking”. I really like this idea. Since I started writing, I think more often and hard, which is draining sometimes, to be honest. However, it is a good way for me to be creative. I want to share my story with my words and this book is helping me write more.
This book is super easy to get through this book. Every sentence is short, clear and understandable, but at the same time it has many ideas to be told. In fact, I have more than 70 highlights on kindle and I’m still half way. I wish I read it when I was in university.
Thank you for reading.
See you in the next one.
